:: Description and Basic Information ::
The world’s tallest pentagonal building, the World Trade Center stands 423 feet above ground and the Top of The World Observation Level – 23rd floor - offers a panoramic view of the city and environs. Visitors can gaze through a telescopic eye, check out historic exhibits of Baltimore’s past, or shop for souvenirs. The Observation Level does give a nice 360-degree view of the city (it looks exactly as you would imagine a bird’s eye view of a city would look) but that is about all it gives. The souvenirs are somewhat cheesy and the exhibits are brief and generic.

If you’re traveling with children or perhaps just doing a quick little tour of the Harbor, a visit here might be nice, but don’t necessarily go out of your way for one. The building is located at the water’s edge in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, adjacent to the National Aquarium, and is easily reached on foot or by water taxi if touring the Harbor. Expect to spend no more than an hour here.
